Mr Fogg's Pawnbrokers can be found in the heart of London's vibrant Soho, Mr Fogg's Pawnbrokers is yet another remarkable creation from the Inception Group, known for their unique and immersive dining and drinking experiences. Soho, with its winding back streets and charming alleyways, has always been a favourite destination, and Mr Fogg's Pawnbrokers perfectly encapsulates the essence of this eclectic neighbourhood.

The venue offers visitors three distinct spaces, each with its own distinctive character. The Pawnbrokers Counter, The Strong Room, and The Textiles Room all contribute to the overall atmosphere, making Mr Fogg's Pawnbrokers a multifaceted establishment that offers something for everyone. We loved the glass-fronted display cabinets which double as tables, where guests can enjoy their cocktails served inside a variety of unusual and eye-catching objects, creating a one-of-a-kind drinking experience.

The interior of Mr Fogg's Pawnbrokers is nothing short of mesmerising. Picture an eclectic wall adorned with antique clocks, a ceiling adorned with an assortment of mismatched light fixtures, and intriguing Victorian erotica that adds an element of whimsy to the decor. Every corner of this establishment exudes character and invites exploration.

"If you're seeking a memorable evening in Soho, make Mr Fogg's Pawnbrokers your next destination."

Now, let's delve into the star of the show—the cocktails. The menu at Mr Fogg's Pawnbrokers is a testament to creativity and craftsmanship, offering a wide array of libations that are both visually stunning and delightfully complex. Our journey through their cocktail offerings left us thoroughly impressed.

I started my evening with the "Aztec in the Attic," a delightful concoction featuring Quiquiriqui Matatlan mezcal, Ancho Reyes Verde chili liqueur, Aperol aperitif, Yellow Chartreuse herbal liqueur, cactus, pimento and prickly pear liqueur, grapefruit sherbet, and lime juice. This drink is a masterful blend of smokiness, citrusy notes, and a hint of spice, offering a well-balanced and captivating flavour profile.

My partner opted for the "Passepartout," a refreshing gin-based cocktail made with Hendrick's gin, fresh cucumber, lemon juice, sugar, egg white, and a dash of black pepper. The combination of cucumber and citrus creates a crisp and invigorating beverage that's perfect for those who appreciate a lighter, more herbaceous option.

My second choice was the "Fool's Gold," a unique creation featuring peanut butter-infused Dewar's 12-year-old Scotch whisky, Martini Riserva Speciale Ambrato vermouth, Boulard Grand Solage Pays d'Auge calvados, maple syrup, and vanilla bitters. Combining a rich, nutty aroma and a smooth, velvety texture, making it a true indulgence for those with a taste for the extraordinary.

My partner, savoured the "Burlington Martini," a classic cocktail with a twist. Made with Grey Goose L'Original vodka, cucumber, fresh lime juice, sugar, and fresh mint, it's a crisp and invigorating take on the timeless martini, perfect for those who appreciate the purity of a well-made classic with a hint of modernity.

For my third choice, I couldn't resist the allure of the "Perfect Timing." This intriguing cocktail combines Patrón Silver tequila, Cointreau orange liqueur, pink grapefruit juice, fresh lime juice, and chipotle chili-infused hibiscus syrup. The result is a harmonious fusion of citrusy zest and subtle smokiness, creating a tantalising and well-balanced libation.

My partner opted for the "Lassi's Possessions," a captivating blend of Bombay Bramble gin, Muyu Vetiver liqueur, mango juice, yoghurt powder, sugar syrup, fresh lime juice, and egg white. This cocktail offers a delightful interplay of fruity and creamy notes, making it a sweet and tangy delight.

To complement our exceptional cocktails, we indulged in a couple of their nibbles—the Feta-Stuffed Peppers and Mature Cheddar. Both dishes were nothing short of delightful, enhancing our overall experience with their delicious flavours and quality ingredients.

Mr Fogg's Pawnbrokers is a true gem in the heart of Soho, offering a one-of-a-kind experience that seamlessly marries creative cocktails, immersive decor, and exceptional service. Every detail, from the interior design to the cocktail selection, is a testament to the dedication and imagination of the Inception Group. Our visit left us eager for a return, and we can't wait to explore more of their offerings. If you're seeking a memorable evening in Soho, make Mr Fogg's Pawnbrokers your next destination.
