No. 131 can be found located in the popular spa town of Cheltenham. No. 131 boasts a central location, and is quite the sight, being a grand Grade II listed Georgian townhouse. This was not our first visit to this stunning boutique hotel, and we were excited to return to experience its beautiful interiors once again.

You almost feel like you’re entering into someone’s home when you enter the building. After an efficient and friendly check in, we were relieved of our luggage and shown to our ‘Outstanding Room’ - and this felt like an understatement, the room was simply perfect and everything we envisioned for a luxurious stay. We felt immediately relaxed and excited for the weekend ahead in this beautifully designed room.

Our room was complete with a emperor size bed which was nothing short of impressive and super comfortable, and amenities including a flatscreen TV with Sky and Apple TV, as well as an iPod docking station, a well-stocked mini bar along with an espresso machine. The bathroom was tastefully thought out and included two drench style walk-in showers along with his and hers wash basins and not forgetting the freestanding bathtub located in the bedroom area.

The stunning décor continues throughout the hotel, which somehow seems to incorporate the old style of the building with funky and chic design pieces. You’ll find a bar in the basement of the building, Crazy Eights, which is fun and lively and serves up some fantastic cocktails, they have a DJ on some nights of the week. If you're looking to experience some superb Asian inspired cuisine then be sure to checkout their relatively new YOKU restaurant which can be found on the ground floor.

Once again, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at No. 131 and look forward to returning in the future. It’s the perfect base from which to explore the delights of Cheltenham, whilst still feeling at the heart of the action. This hotel comes highly recommended by us.
